New Master Degree Program(MACM)

Aim and Purpose

  1. To promote Karen Baptist Ministers who have served the Lord Jesus Christ in full time ministry for years.
  2. To encourage Karen Baptist Ministers who are unable to pursue theological education as full time students.
  3. To enhance the theological education/understanding among Karen Baptist Ministers.
  4. To equip Karen Baptist ministers with higher theological education.

Admission Requirements

  1. Applicants must be Karen Baptist ministers serving in full time ministry under the KBC or abroad.
  2. Applicants must hold the certificate of Bachelor of Theology (B. Th), Bachelor of Theological Studies (BTS), Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry (BACM) and the Karen Language Degree.
  3. Applicants should not be older than 60 years old.
  4. Applicants should sit for entrance examination (29.8.09) at 9am for English and Biblical knowledge.
  5. Applicants who pass the entrance exam should take one month English course (1.9.09-25.9.09) at KBTS before entering the MACM regular class.
  6. Tuition Fees 15,000 kyats for one month English course will be received on 1 st September, 2009.

Study and Travel aboard

  1. Rev.Dr Saw Than Win is going to attend the metting of Association for Theological Education in South East Assia (ATESEA) which will be held on 1 July-5 July at Seminari Alkitab Asia Tenggana in Indonesia.
  2. Thramu Elta is going to study one year english Course (2009-2010) in Thailand.

  3. Thra Taylor is going to study Master of Arts (Theological Libraianship) at Luther Theological Seminary in Hong Kong.
  4. Thra Christopher Day is going to study Th.D program at Luther Theological Seminary in Hong Kong.
